SUSTAINABILITY Project Manager

EQ is seeking an experienced Sustainability Project Manager to join our team. The Sustainability Project Manager will actively manage green building projects from concept design through to construction completion to ensure sustainability targets are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the green building rating process for various institutional, commercial, and high-rise residential buildings.
Lead integrated design meetings to facilitate sustainability solutions from a multi-disciplinary consulting team.
Review design and construction drawings to verify and document environmental performance.
Collect and track LEED®, WELL, Fitwel, Toronto Green Standard and other green building standard submittal documentation provided by the project team and review for completeness and accuracy.
Attend site meetings throughout the construction phase and perform site reviews as needed.
Review LEED® and TGS submissions and provide assistance during the green building certification process.
Provide management and leadership to sustainability staff.
Conduct research into emerging sustainable design products and methods.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or masters degree in engineering, environmental studies, environmental science, civil engineering, architecture / building science, or a closely related field.
5-10 years experience in a consulting/construction capacity, with at least 3 years direct experience in green building rating certification. Experience with institutional / P3 projects is an asset.
Understanding of multidisciplinary building design as they relate to building performance and sustainability, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, civil and architectural design.
LEED® AP BD+C certification or willingness to pursue.
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam is preferred.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Sound problem solving and organizational skills.

Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
While this position will be based in either Vaughan or Toronto, remote working arrangements are an option and we encourage applicants from across Canada.
